Downloads

WPE x64 2.1 captures either through a SOCKS proxy or by injecting the process. Built on .NET 4.8 with Visual Studio 2022, modern UI, unzip and run — no GAC registration.

// LATEST STABLE
v2.1.7
Released 2025-11-12 · 38.44 MB · Windows x64 · MIT License
// One portable executable

The archive contains a single WinsockPacketEditor.exe. Double-click it — there is nothing to install. Before unzipping, right-click the archive and choose Properties → Unblock → Apply, or injection may fail with Code 15. If Internet Explorer blocks the ZIP download, unblock it in IE's download settings first.

// There is no auto-update

The program never checks for versions online. To upgrade, take the new archive from this page, unzip it and run the new exe. The configuration database is stored per version and is not carried over, so export it from the old version with Backup Settings first. Report bugs on GitHub issues.

// Looking for WPE Proxy Cap?

The WPE Proxy Cap client ships on its own schedule; its downloads and changelog live on the Proxy Cap page. This page carries the WPE x64 main program only.

Changelog

v2.1.72025-11-1238.44 MB
  • Proxy Mode gains an HTTP proxy, handling HTTP/HTTPS/WS/WSS/TCP/TLS-TCP/UDP packet types
  • Proxy Mode gains Force Proxy, pushing a process's traffic through this machine or another SOCKS proxy server
  • FireWall rules can now add an address to the WhiteList automatically once it authenticates
  • Filter Edit gains Random: a marked position is replaced with a random byte in 00 - FF, never the original value
  • Filter Edit now edits on a single click; to paste a run of packet data, use Paste from the context menu
  • The Client List now reports traffic and time online per account
  • On first launch, animation, shadows and high-quality text are now off by default, avoiding stutter and errors on constrained machines
  • Deleting proxy accounts now states how many will go, so paging no longer leads to accidental deletions
  • Filter, send, robot and proxy-account names are now capped at 20 characters, so a long name can no longer break the display
  • Better UDP connection handling: a port is released after 3 minutes without traffic
  • Fixed: changing the Remote MGT IP required a restart to take effect
  • Fixed: an account and IP still showed as online after the client disconnected
  • Fixed: an error when recording a proxy account's login IP
v2.1.62025-10-2215.24 MB
  • Proxy Mode gains a FireWall with a system-wide BlackList, WhiteList and rule set
  • The Change action now stops the Filter List: once a Change filter runs, no later filter touches the packet, so the new data cannot be altered by accident
  • Filter Edit: DEL now clears a cell, and switching mode or the start-from option snaps the grid back to column 000
  • Robots gain a Toggle instruction that enables or disables a send, a robot or a filter while running
  • The packet list can now be kept always on top
  • Leach Setting gains a packet-type condition, so you can filter the list by type
  • Bulk account creation can now export to Excel
  • Fixed: after saving a filter's chained execution, reopening it did not show the selection
  • Fixed: Remote MGT settings required a restart to take effect
  • Fixed: the packet list in Inject Mode raised an error dialog - #129
  • Fixed: upstream proxy data still appeared in the packet list with Speed Mode on
  • Fixed: the Client List showed the wrong link and device counts
v2.1.52025-10-1015.21 MB
  • New Database Setting: choose the database path before picking a mode, so several instances can run side by side

v2.0.0.02024-12-212.89 MB
// Important

Version 2.0 introduces two working modes — SOCKS proxy and process injection — chosen at startup.

  • New SOCKS proxy mode: WPE acts as a socket proxy server while still hooking WinSock, so proxied data and captured packets can be examined together, with the mode and port both configurable
  • The packet list now colour-codes rows: red for intercepted packets, yellow for ones a filter edited; the context menu shows exactly what changed
v1.0.0.482024-12-142.44 MB
  • Robot hotkeys added: Ctrl + Alt + F1 to F12 fire the first 12 robots in list order
  • Reopening a saved robot, Alt + E now runs it without reaching for the Execute button
  • The packet list gains multi-selection, so several packets can be added to a send at once - #57
  • Fixed: the socket value in a send was capped at 9999 - #56
  • Fixed: with Leach Setting on Only Display, combining several conditions stopped the filtering working
v1.0.0.472024-12-102.44 MB
  • Robot keyboard instructions gain Text, typing a run of characters directly
  • Robot mouse instructions gain move-by, shifting the pointer relative to where it is
  • Fixed: the key-combination instruction in robots did nothing
v1.0.0.462024-12-072.42 MB
// Important

The filter file format changed. Save your filter configuration before upgrading, or it will be lost.

  • New Robot feature: build a robot from an instruction set covering packet, keyboard and mouse actions. Run it by hand, or let a filter trigger it
  • Filters gain Progression: right-click a cell in the modify row to mark it. With both a modify value and Progression set, the value is written first and then incremented from there. Reaching FF wraps back to 00 and vice versa, and it keeps going until capture stops
  • Fixed: an Advanced-mode filter intercepted every packet
  • Fixed: sending a single packet by hand did not increment the Progression byte - #44
  • Fixed: with a negative step, Progression did not wrap once it reached 00
v1.0.0.452024-11-222.22 MB
  • Auto-saved settings are now kept per injected process

  • Leach Setting gains a packet-head condition for filtering the display
  • Import and export of the Filter List now carries each filter's enabled state
  • New Extraction feature, pulling the data you want out of other formats
